National Beagle Club of America, Inc. The mission of the National Beagle Club of America, Inc. is to encourage the improvement of the beagle breed in both conformation and in performance and to maintain and encourage the tradition of hunting with hounds.

The Club maintains the Breed Standard to guide judges in the selection of the best hounds at shows, is responsible for approving the Beagle Field Trial Rules as promulgated by the American Kennel Club, and acts as the registering body for hare and rabbit hunting packs in the United States and Canada .

Beagle breed is small sized dogs and are usually famous for their long size floppy ears, short size, short muzzle and broad head. These dogs have a great sense of smell and are often known as ‘detective dogs’

Regardless of their age, Beagles are very friendly and playful dogs. They mingle with any person very easily. These dogs tend to get distracted very often and hence it becomes a little bit difficult to train them. You might require a great patience and understanding while training Beagle breed dogs. The best way to train them is by using the leash since the outside world is full of different types of scents. Though they are very friendly and playful, they can also get a little mischievous and hence, you might require the help of a professional trainer to train this breed of dogs.

Their life span is about 10 to 13 years and litter about 2 to 14 puppies. These dogs can be a child’s best friend since very rarely we find any aggressive Beagle.

Beagle is a breed of dog. It is like sturdy little hound shape as look like fox hound. Its body is squarely built and skull is long and domed. The square muzzle is straight and medium in length. The eyes are set well apart and mostly brown or hazel in color. The ears are wide and long. Nose is broad and black. There are different colors in this type of dog like tri-color, black and tan, red and white, lemon and white and so on. Beagles are very loving, sweet and gentle in nature. Happy with anyone and greet with a wagging of tail. They are social, intelligent and brave. They are very friendly to children’s specially. They have a good mind which helps them in their training. They are curious to follow their own nose as to track something. Normally their heights are between 11 to 13 inch in bitches and 14 to 16 inch in dogs.

I once had 6 cats and I meal fed each and every one of them. If I didn’t I had one cat that ate so much she was on the fringe of becoming diabetic and other cats that weren’t getting enough. Although it was difficult (some of them were even crate trained and would run into their crates), it was essential to my kitties’ and my doggies’ health to meal feed!
