Beagle breed is small sized dogs and are usually famous for their long size floppy ears, short size, short muzzle and broad head. These dogs have a great sense of smell and are often known as ‘detective dogs’

Regardless of their age, Beagles are very friendly and playful dogs. They mingle with any person very easily. These dogs tend to get distracted very often and hence it becomes a little bit difficult to train them. You might require a great patience and understanding while training Beagle breed dogs. The best way to train them is by using the leash since the outside world is full of different types of scents. Though they are very friendly and playful, they can also get a little mischievous and hence, you might require the help of a professional trainer to train this breed of dogs.

Their life span is about 10 to 13 years and litter about 2 to 14 puppies. These dogs can be a child’s best friend since very rarely we find any aggressive Beagle.

If I didn’t I had one cat that ate so much she was on the fringe of becoming diabetic and other cats that weren’t getting enough. Although it was difficult (some of them were even crate trained and would run into their crates), it was essential to my kitties’ and my doggies’ health to meal feed!

I don’t always make my dogs walk in heel position, most of the time I let them be dogs and sniff and wander however they are NEVER allowed to pull me and when I tell them to heel (when I see another dog, a car, a bike, a child) I expect them to come into heel position no matter what else is going on; heel past the distraction and then I can release them and they can go on about being a dog.”

All these comments got me to thinking “What is the Best Dog? Of course there are too many individualities to know what is best for everyone, but personally when talking to most people, my clients, and even my family; adult dogs usually make the best fit.”

But, I hate Christmas shopping! For some of my family members Christmas shopping is easy, I know their needs and their desires and it is easy to get them the things that they and their families need for the year.

But for some, it is especially difficult! Even in tough economic times some people really don’t need presents or gifts to set on the shelf and dust or a new hideous seasonal sweater or tie that they will only wear once.”
